Lecture Series – Together Alone – Musical Practices between Collectivity and Individuation

we would like to invite you to the interdisciplinary lecture series Together Alone. Musical Practices between Collectivity and Individuation that will take place weekly during the Winter Semester 2021/22.

It is organized by the Doctoral Students of the Structured Doctoral Programme “Music Matters” (sdp) of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) and will be held in a hybrid format. All lectures will be streamed via Zoom.

The opening lecture will be held on the 13th October at 5:30 pm (CET) by Simone Mahrenholz on “Matter and Meaning in Music – The Collective and the Culture-Relative”.
