If anyone is in the Memphis area at the end of this month, there are still a few places left for the Balancing The Mix conference on popular music and social justice, which will take place at the University of Memphis on Saturday 30th March.
The conference features over 30 academic speakers including Cheryl Carr and Matt Stahl, with papers and panels covering a wide range of topics.
We are not accepting new speakers at this point, but for those who would like to attend, the registration fee is $100 (or $75 for students) and the closing date for registration is the end of Monday, 25th March.
