Situated in a magnificent purpose-built building in the heart of Australia’s leading research University, the ANU School of Music is seeking Lecturers and Senior Lecturers in Music who have an emerging or established record of research and research-led teaching and performance.

Candidates with interests that encompass one or more of the following areas–Music History and/or Music Sociology, Music & Technology, Jazz, Rock and Contemporary Music Theory and Practice, Aural Training, Vocal or Instrumental Pedagogy and/or Performance Research–who are capable of working well as part of a team, who are comfortable with emerging technologies for teaching and learning in music, and with other interests that could exploit interdisciplinary academic pathways within the Research School of Humanities and the Arts are particularly encouraged to apply. Appointees will also be expected to undertake postgraduate supervision, and maintain and develop excellence in a relevant area of music research and performance.

These are full-time continuing appointments available from January 2013.
