Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.


Author Guidelines

1. To submit your paper to the proceedings, please use the template and rename it with your surname in capital letters with no spaces in Unicode UTF-8 encoding.

2. Save the template as .doc, .docx or .odf. Formatting instructions are detailed within the document, however if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

3. Submit your paper through the conference proceedings' website:

3.1 Register as ‘Author’ on the conference system

3.2 Log-in to your account

3.3 Go to ‘User home’

3.4 ‘Author’

3.5. ‘Step one of the submission process’

Then follow the instructions. You will be asked to submit the paper and the abstract.

Manuscript maximum length: 2,000 words.

Deadline for submissions (to be done directly through the conference proceeding website): 15 February 2012.

The submissions will be open peer-reviewed.


Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., are activated and ready to click.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.

a) Authors retain copyright over their work, while allowing the conference to place this unpublished work under a Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows others to freely access, use, and share the work, with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and its initial presentation at this conference.
