Latin American Branch – New Website‏

The Latin American Branch is pleased to announce the launch of its new website. This is a bilingual site (Portuguese and Spanish) that represents more than 20 countries and 280 researchers from a significant number of State and public universities. We invite you to have a look at our Historical Proceedings online (like Bogotá 2000), to read our news, and to follow us on Facebook and watch our videos on our YouTube channel.

As soon as possible we’ll upload proceedings (already edited) from the conferences held in Mexico (2002), Rio de Janeiro (2004), Buenos Aires (2005), Havana (2006) and Lima (2008). We also remind you Caracas’ proceedings were uploaded a few months ago at http://www.iaspmal.net/ActasIASPMAL2010.pdf. As you can see this is an auto-managed webpage, therefore we will be updating the site regularly; as a result, it will function as work-in-progress.

Finally, if you want to be part of the Latin American branch, just email Mercedes Liska (mmmliska@gmail.com). The Serve list is free but our memberships benefits require a small fee. Among said benefits are: (modest) funding for our biannual conference, free online access to our Member Zone and fee discounts. Any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us at iaspmal@gmail.com or canazo@gmail.com.
