We are pleased to announce that Situating Popular Musics: IASPM 16th International Conference Proceedings is now online.

All papers are accessible by clicking the ‘PDF’ link to the right of each title. Should a particular paper interest you enough to contact the author, there is a link in the right sidebar to ‘Email the author’ – please note that you need to be logged in to the system to be able to do this. If you registered on the submissions conference website for Spain 2013, you can use the same login (if you experience any difficulties with this, please email us: webmaster@iaspm.net)

If you would like to download the complete file, it is available here: http://www.iaspm.net/publications/ or directly at: http://www.iaspm.net/archive/IASPM11.pdf

This is the first time we have used the Open Conference System (OCS) for publication of proceedings. We hope that it provides everyone with ease of access and dissemination, and we encourage you to forward the link to your networks and contacts.

We take this opportunity to thank all the authors for their contributions; Michael Drewett for hosting the conference in Grahamstown; and Jacopo Tomatis for his excellent work on the layout and formatting of the proceedings.

For those waiting for the Liverpool proceedings (edited by Geoff Stahl and Alex Gyde), these will be online very soon – yes, we are working backwards! Getting to grips with OCS has meant some delay with both proceedings, but now that we are well-versed in the finer points and idiosyncrasies of OCS, we hope that the publication of future proceedings will be an efficient and streamlined process.

Happy reading!
